PPF Flexible Coating.png

AUTOTRIZ PPF Flexible Coating is a specialized flexible coating for all types of paint protection film. For polyurethane film, matte and satin wraps and vinyl film. It formulated with heavy ultra-violet (UV) inhibitor to protect film against sun UV damage.

It offers strong resistance to chemicals and environmental damage like acid rain marks which causes yellowing of film. It also prolongs the lifetime of the wrapped film with less maintenance and easier to clean. AUTOTRIZ PPF Flexible Coating enhances gloss to the surface along with excellent water and dirt repellency and extreme durability.

- Flexibility and breath-ability
- Excellent protection against graffiti / stains

- Enhances gloss
- Easy-to-Clean
- Excellent adhesion to paint protection film
- Outstanding weather resistance
- High UV and chemical resistance

- Prevents yellowing of PPF
- Cures at room temperature
- Superior to Polysiloxane coating

PPF Flexible Coating is particularly suitable for polyurethane film, matte and satin wraps and vinyl film

PPF Flexible Coating can be applied with puff applicator for smoother application.

Appearance: Colourless

Density: ca. 0,86 g/cm3

Binder Base: Organic Polysilazane

Curing: Normal ambient temperature/ 80°C

Shelf Life: 12 months

Container Size: 50ml

Shake well before use.

Get ready with 3 pieces of brand new, lint-free microfiber towel. (It is recommended that new towels to be rinsed or washed with water prior to use to reduce the loosing lint)

When first applying PPF Flexible Coating on substrate, it is recommended to condition the surface of the puff applicator with 7-8 drops to prevent skipping or dry spots.

Do not work on large area at a time. It is recommended to do a 2 ft. x 2 ft. area at a time.

Apply PPF Flexible Coating using normal pressure on applicator. Make sure the area is well covered. Always start from an edge to avoid excess on other panels. Work in controlled areas to remember where you previously applied. Work in horizontal or vertical movements to ensure that product is carried through consistently.

PPF Flexible Coating is tacky and feel sticky like glue to remove. Wait for 5-10 seconds only. Use first towel to buff off the product using harder pressure.

Go immediately over with second microfiber towel with polishing motion until the film is completely free from residue.

Follow by the third towel (this is called the “insurance towel”) and go over the surface one extra time just to make sure you haven’t miss any streaks or excess residue just to make sure you haven’t miss any streaks or excess residue.

When the whole car is applied, allow curing of coating to begin.

If white haze appears, it is normal. They will disappear after to coating is cured.

Wait approximately 30-60 minutes before applying a second layer.

Curing times depend on temperature and humidity. Curing can be accelerated using IR Lamps. Follow lamp manufacturer's recommended settings.

Product must be applied at an ambient temperature of at least + 5°C and a relative humidity of 30 % - 80 %. Avoid direct sunlight! Apply the coating in dry conditions. Any mistakes can be rectified within approx. 10 min of application. Traces of water in the applicator should also be avoided. Applicators dampened with water should not be used. The applicators cannot be reused once the coating has been applied. 3D Matrix Coating is dry-to-touch after about one hour.

The recommended curing conditions (until water resistant) are:

- Room temperature: 8 – 12 hours

- 80 °C (Infra-red curing): 2 hours

Curing can be accelerated by using IR Lamps after PPF Flexible Coating is applied. Heating Polysilazanes results in crosslinking to form higher molecular weight polymers. Recommended settings for IR lamps are as following:

i. Minimum 80cm of distance above the surface.

ii. Maximum 80⁰C of surface temperature.

iii. Maximum 30 minutes on each panel.

The PPF Flexible Coating is fully effective after 5 – 7 days’ curing at room temperature. During this time, the vehicles should not be driven into a vehicle wash.
